Hello,
I successfully installed arm9LoaderHax, but my NANDs are switched???
When I power on my 3DS, it doesn t boot with CTR-Bootmanger(menuhax) anymore???
It s boots directly into my emuNAND (10.6.0-31 E) and it need about 20seconds.
Is that normal? Any idea how to boot into Gateway Mode?

That's what AuReiNAND does by default.
There's no need for MenuHax, and you can remove it from your SysNAND (hold "L" to boot SysNAND with 9.0 FIRM, "R" to boot with current)
If for some strange reason you feel Gateway is necessary (99% of the time, it isn't) just boot with "L" and launch it normally.
You may want to add the HBLauncher or modified GWLauncher CIA to your SysNAND.

I could find the HBLauchner
https://github.com/yellows8/hblauncher_loader/releases
but where can i get the modified GWLauchner cia??
And what s the difference between SysNAND with 9.0 FIRM and with current???

It's a modification of HBLauncher cia.

Difference of FIRMs is that while you can boot 9.2 with a later (9.6/10.2/etc) FIRM, the exploits used for just about anything only work with the 9.0 FIRM.
No, you can't launch a later version with 9.0 FIRM, that'd be too easy. (Preemtive answer)

I still have some questions.
I shouldn t update my 9.2 SysNAND?
I can update my 10.6 emuNAND, if there s a new update available????
If there s a new version of AuReiNand, I only have to replace the old files?
Anything else I should keep in mind?
Which is the best ARM9Loader CFW? AuReiNand v3.6.1 , ReiNand v3.3 or any other CFW??

The latest version of aureinand should allow you to update without letting it overwrite a9hl

So if I'm using aurinand and have emu on
10.6 and sysnand on 9.0 I can boot with R trigger for sysnand and boot GW via the cia?

In that case, you'd boot with "L".
"R" boots with whatever normal FIRM you have (which is prolly ~9.6/10.2), "L" is 9.2, which is used for any normal hacks.
Even in 9.2, sig checks are disabled, so you can install the CIA just fine.

is there anything special i need to do to get L to boot because it throws me to a black screen

Edit: Got it, needed the 9.0 bin in the rei folder

I have a question as I've recently installed arm9loaderhax and aureinand myself and am wondering how to use my gateway card with this since I'm booting into emuNAND, but my question is: how exactly do I install a CIA to my sysNAND when booting with L? @dkabot Can I Just go into FBI on emunand and attempt to install a cia to sysnand, or is there some other way to install a cia manager to sysNAND? The guides I've followed have only taught me how to install the cia manager to emuNAND, so I'm lost as what to do

Personally, I'd run SysNAND on 9.0 FIRM, then use *Hax (probably BrowserHax) to run the 3DSX of FBI and install [insert CIA manager here] with it.
FBI 3DSX only works no 9.X with 9.0 FIRM, so make sure you're not booting with R.

You should have installed a cia manager to sysnand prior to install.

My best guess is to have firm 9.0 in the rei folder and hold L then boot browser hax then run gw on sys nand and install a cia manager via dev menu on the red card

I tried this and it said it successfully installed the FBI.cia to NAND but when I went into sysNAND booting with L the home menu would load and all of the default apps would load and then one app would just disappear (I suspect that's the FBI.cia). I tried reinstalling it and the FBI.3dsx prompted me to overwrite as the cia was already installed and I reinstalled it but the same thing just keeps on occurring when I go into home menu. Do you suppose I delete the FBI.cia from sysNAND and try another cia manager to install through the FBI.3dsx? Or is it a problem with something other than the cia? *(Also just to be sure I booted holding R and I tried installing the cia but that wouldn't even let me install to the NAND at all)

You don't install FBI.cia to NAND, you install it to SD.
You do so on SysNAND.
Yes, there is a difference.

wait really? So that would install the FBI.cia to sysNAND???
The majority of titles on 3DS go on the SD card with per-NAND magic so you can't just use it in another console.
A small amount of titles (system titles, DSIWare/GBA...) go directly on the NAND instead.

FBI lets you choose the destination, though in most cases NAND is either completely invalid or doesn't work (as you saw), whereas others choose this for you based on the cia.
