ROM Hack Pikasav - Save editor for Pokemon gen 1 and 2

So, someone asks me about this program, and it turns out I'm probably one of the few people who still has it...

Fun facts:
* It's windows exclusive, but on the other hand there are plenty of (Phyton) source files scattered inside
* It edits name, money, team, boxes, items, and Pokedex progress, no fancy features
* I didn't make this
* It was sponsored by the defunct site Pkparaiso.net
* Like PkHex, the UI sometimes aces and sometimes sucks
* When opening a file, change the extension filter from .sav to All Files so that you can directly open the extracted virtual console "sav.bin"
* After editing the level/DV/StatExp, use the "quick editing" option to recalculate stats

Can we still extract and import save data via SDF or other save managers with the new Gen I re-releases? seems too good to be true

SDF works (personal experience, title ID 1710 for EU Red, 1712 for EU Yellow)
JK works (or so I heard)
SVDT is broken, just like on every game with the new 9.6 security
save_manager, who knows...

Doesn't this only work for GB .sav files? Would be cool if someone could get it to work with the Virtual Console releases.

I have heard that it's buggy and messes up the save file.
I have it too, though i never use it.

Don't waste you're time, it deletes you're PC stored Pokemon.

The people on project pokemon will make a gen 1 save editor eventually, so i'll wait for them.
I don't have any of the vc games anyway (yet).

When i re-import my save through SDF, ithe VC says its corrupted (deleted secure val too)
Using GW 3.7.1 N3DS.
Ill try with ReiNand now.

You can also use a Checksum Fixer and Hex Edit the save

Yep app in main topic is buggy. It took me a number of times *hours* to get my save the way I want & can't use the program anymore or risk of corrupt save again *should have made my 2 pokemon to other 2 starters instead of 1 of them XD *. I had errors with my save every time I added an item to my bag & PC when I had nothing in them so do what I did, quick save & use app to get money & up the potion in PC to make sure nothing happens. No errors in save *should happen* than take out 1 potion & pick your pokemon & buy some items to have the number of items you want in bag & pc. Then use app again to change the items to what you want in bag & PC. Again the app in main post works but is super buggy & will give delete your save. So you have been warned a number of people, if you want a less buggy app you have to wait like the rest of us.

no it doesnt delete my pc pokemon... ive alredy tested it...
if youre afraid, just have a back up, but im sure it doesnt delete your pokemon on pc... im using the pc version, not the android...

I thought I was the only one who still had this old program! Its buried somewhere on our old pc in storage. If anyone is curious to know, This works fine on osx with wineskin winery wrappers.
