Hi, so i am not allowed to check the console unless i buy it first, here are my two questions:
Upon turning on the console, for first use, what screen would appear ? a user settings and personal info registration form ?? Is there anyway to know if a console is truely new and unused before ?
Firstly, you set your language, then test the 3D function, then set up your local profile, and (optionally) set up WiFi connection, and NNID. Then you press the HOME button. It's so statisfying to hear for the first time.Is there ANYWAY to find the date of the production of the console from the factory to compare it with the release date of 10.4 patch ?
You'll have to find a sticker on the box like this: (Pic took from my own box)

Look at the three letters and first four numbers. Here's the list of FW versions: https://gbatemp.net/threads/n3ds-xl-firmware-by-version-number.381479/
Mine has YEM1009 on it, which means it came with 9.0.
