Hacking Still can't access eshop on 9.2 after updating NVER

I have a 9.2 3DS and I want to try and access the eshop. I used 3DNUS to download the latest NVER and installed it as a CIA file. Then I used this link to grab the older HANS/eshop file and loaded up HANS and then the eshop:

But it still gives me the 002-119 message saying I have to be on the latest firmware to access the eshop. Does this mean I'm out of luck?

I updated one File (Maybe NVER, not sure anymore) called 000400DB20016102.cia (v480) on n3DS XL, I pass to the eShop with Hans but it freeze after loading up and showing the shop interface.
What can it be ? Worked with an older 000400DB20016102.cia on a lower FW. (I'm on sys 9.2 / emu 9.5)

I believe you also need to update CVER if you aren't using Gateway.

Friends module system 0004013000003202 v9216, and use HANS to launch your installed eShop, it will ask you to make a small update for eShop, then you should be able to access the eShop.

For last FW I followed a tutorial here in the forum, and I had to update only the NVER. And it worked, before 10.5 came out. I don't get any error, it just freeze after logging in successfully in the menu. (Yes, using HANS) So 0004013000003202 needed now in addition on N3DS ?

Your advice finally helped me bypass the error message but now I'm in the same boat as XyracX where it crashes as soon as I enter the eshop. So close...

Well, seems they found how to break that method, i get a black screen now, but used it 2 weeks ago with that method, we must wait for new workaround guys!

It's not just eShop anymore, it's all online services.
They just want people to update and block themselves out of running exploits. Which of course won't matter to existing CFW users, they can just update their emuNAND, but there will be less new pirates (or at least, that's what Nintendo is probably hoping)

Why not just use emuNAND and update it to 10.5?

Maybe, but it hasn't happened yet, so I wouldn't worry.

Are you guys using the newest hans version? because last time I tried to use the newest version I got problems, maybe you should try a older version of hans.

Doesn't updated HANS at any time. Just use that one, came with the NinjaHax Pack from smea. Also tried using old Hans and the normal one.

With an old version of hans, update the nver and access eshop works for me.

Then the "friends" system module, nVer, and ONLY IF using O3DS, the Old3DS NFC module (don't worry, it's safe! it was unused in 9.2, it didn't even exist).
Install all of that. Launch eShop after running FreeMultiPatcher, and using at least the 9.6 FIRM to boot SysNAND. Tada!

Do you know which title ID is the newest eshop on 3dnus is?

Aaaaand something has gone wrong where out of curiosity, I decided to go to the settings and noticed that without any warning, it's upgraded to 10.5.

I don't know how but now I'm wondering when this happened.
