Hacking Which flash card to play DS games on cfw emunand

Hi, I have reinand cfw and emunand updated to 10.5 on N3DSXL and I would like to play DS roms. Which DS flash card I can buy to do that?

I just picked up a R4i-SDHC 3DS RTS (The one with the red box) from modchipcentral and it works great! Just need patched slot 1 and launcher.

What are the differences when you use it? I only own a R4i Gold, I know that the card is officially supported by Wood R4, but since the last update was years ago, it doesn't matter anymore. So, what are other differences?

As long as it's a 1:1 clone (since only Gateway and Sky3DS are really the only authentic carts out there), has 3DS compatibility, real-time save feature, and is sold from a legit site. That's all that matters.

Edit: And figuring out the folder structure depending on what flavor of firmware/kernel for your cart (different clones have different file structures).

If you're still unsure check out the twl firm compatibility list and do research from there OR default to a gateway 3ds/Sky3DS.

The thread you linked is about an older revision of the R4i Gold without the "RTS" on the cardridge, not a thread about R4i Gold vs R4i-SDHC or something like that.

But practically there are a shit load of ds cards that don't run on a 3ds, let alone n3ds. If they are blocked, they need to have been working on the device at any point in the past so you can patch the whitelist. If they never worked than they won't, see acekard 2i on n3ds for example.

The twl firm patch that you apply does not enable the original R4 DS cartridge.

Go to that 3ds iso site and find the mega thread that has all the firmwares and such. It has Reinand, Cakes, Rxtools, minipasta Ready to Use zip files with all the needed files. Just in zip them to SD and use your preferred meathon of entry (ninjhax/menuhax with a bootloader are best. )

Not sure what you're trying to say here, but the 2i works perfectly on n3ds xl with two patched.
