n3DS downgraded from 10.3 to 9.2, reinand works beautiful with no issues. just stumbled upon that downgrade checker recently and i just bothered to check my downgrade that i did a while back, and it returned this.

should i be worried? or are those titles going to bite me back with some issues later?

These are just newer titles that 9.2 didn't have installed. They are residual files left from the downgrade pack, so do not worry. As long as CFW works, you're good to go.

isn't there an extra category for titles that 9.2 didn't have?
Code:
[EXTRA TITLES]

TitleID Vers. Description

0004003000009e02 01031 amiibo Settings
i got that one at least.

by the way, is there like a database where you can find what titles are for what version, and/or what they do?

There are also some mismatched titles thrown into the downgrade pack everyone used to downgrade with. Some meant for O3DS in the N3DS pack and vice versa. Having these titles does virtually nothing to system stability and will not affect you at all. What will affect you is if you try to remove/replace them and not know what you're doing. I suggest you become content with the mismatched titles before you wind up with a brick/soft-brick. I see people on the temp try to fix this issue regularly; however, if there isn't a problem, don't fix it.

Download those titles from the o3ds 9.2 system pack and rerun sysupdater and downgrade. I fixed the titles just out of OCD but if you don't have a problem with it don't fix it I would say,I just had to fix because of my ocd lol.

I literally just explained it. Your downgrade went fine. Quit reading between the lines. If you have CFW set up, don't fuck with it.
i meant that for future references if i ever downgrade some other units. so rule of thumb is just that if CFW works, fuck everything else? as long as i get emunand to work, nothing in sysnand would bite me back later, yes?

As long as you can launch CFW, you're fine. If you can't, them youre screwed. In the future, you shouldn't run into any issues updating sysnand;however, I would avoid using it as it does have the mismatched titles. Some things may not work properly only in sysnand, since emunand is literally running a completely different nand with all titles up-to-date. Don't listen to the other guy who posted, your OCD isn't worth messing up your dowmgraded console.

Also, you shouldn't be updating sysnand at all unless we find an kernel exploit on a higher firmware. Even then, there shouldnt even be a reason to ever update sysnand as long as we can still launch emunand.

nah, i don't have that much OCD to fully clean up my sysnand. my goal is just to have all the critical titles and make sure that they don't backfire later, and of course, to boot emunand properly.

It should never backfire, but like I mentioned I wouldn't linger in sysnand. Make sure you unlink your nands and only boot into emunand. There is virtually no reason to be in sysnand except to play GBA games and some CFW supports that straight from emunand from what I believe.

i made sure that my nands are unlinked. i've never touched sysnand after i had emunand setup. it's just that curiosity piqued when i saw those mismatched titles and if they are relevant or not.

I think you should have a look at this

Don't listen to me? How are you going to tell me whats better if I have never bricked a single console and I have every moddable console since 2000 modded. Why are you more experienced? Because you say you are? LOL @ being scared of your own ability to follow simple instructions.Im tired of all you GBAtempers that think you are special because you have custom firmware, you are not special or more intelligent than the average populace as you did not do any of the actual "hacking". Anyone with an IQ of 80 could install cfw on their 3ds and it is certainly not something to feel superiority over someone for. I find it funny you said "don't listen to that guy" like you are this qualified 3ds expert just lol @ you.

As a matter of fact, you don't necessarily have to be a developer nor a security enthusiast to have advanced knowledge about the system inner workings. Said this, I actually do support what you're saying (perhaps with another wording, but we get the idea).

The whole "if it's not broken why fix it" and "if you can pirate you are ok" is utterly bullshit. If downgrade check raises the concern about some titles being out of version/extra installed then is up to you to fix the issue. Maybe the system works fine, and maybe you can go all arrrr through the seven seas, but as long as we are human we all have different reasons to be in the scene. For me is not about the games, or the "free" content: it's about fiddling with the system. Under my point of view, having a clean sysnand is a must. I can't stress that enough.

Onto the thread's topic, downgrade check is right. You have four titles out of version and an extra title. Just for the downgrade results I'd say you have a new3ds (xl or not idk) and your downgrade went dandy fine. As another user said, you could check the "Random errors in n3ds" thread, but I'll advace that to you: you can properly downgrade the two first with sysupdater cia on sysnand and dowgrading to the same 9.2 package you used (n3ds!). You can downgrade the last two by grabbing them from the o3ds package as they are the same for both systems. And you can erase amiibo settings, as it is not needed. Be very careful when deleting titles as you could delete the wrong one (and then you'll be screwed!).

You described the process very accurately, and I would have found your post very helpful if I hadn't already downgraded the extra titles. The worst part if being careful on deleting the titles but besides that sysupdater does most the work. No reason to have frankenfirmware if you can help it in my opinion.

Well amiibo settings didn't have a version in 9.2 afaik. I'm wondering how you say you downgraded it, but funny story is (pun intended) if it's an extra title, the title would be not needed in version 3 and version 7 millions. So I think I don't quite get you.

I mean I manually deleted the amiibo title using FBI. The others I downgraded with sysupdater.

Well considering the only credentials that you have are your OCD and I have a Bachelors in Computer Technology and an Associates in Computer Forensics, I would listen to me. True, I am newer to the 3DS scene than you, but from what I have observed, those titles are not key elements to the 3DS system. The worst that could happen is you end up in an endless loading screen when trying to boot some random system app. One app is apparently service related; however, if there were issues with having it installed on your device, some of the more knowledgable in the community would have found it out.

Giving this user a bunch of advice that he may/may not understand how to follow. Give me one single reason why he should risk bricking his console to delete and replace some unnecessary garbage. This isn't some $10,000 Linux server stored in a cool room, it's a 3DS that we're talking about. If it isn't broken, don't fix it. And that's coming from someone who has been in the IT field for 10 years, not some random 13 year old who wanted to make sure their hand-held video game console meets their standards of their self-diagnosed OCD.
