N3DS , 9.2 sysnand , no NNID on sysnand .
i only setup my NNID on emunand
i was using menuhax to boot to GW emunand 10.5 , i already have some games downloaded from the eshop emunand
then i used CHMM to install custom themes
next next in the reboot i was not able to boot to emunand, i had to use ninjhax to do this.
also, the custom themes are also applied on sysnand but i entered the homebrew channel from emunand

after i boot to emunand , i found every games and app even the ones i installed from eshop ( like pokemon shuffle ) wrapped as a gift.
why is that ? i thought that's only happen to cia installed apps.

I sounds like you have linked NANDs.
Check if you have the same friend code in sysNAND and emuNAND. If yes then you have linked NANDs.

You need to unlink them.
Format the sysNAND, you can use tinyformat for that so it won't format the sd card.

You can use the .3dsx file so you can use it with homebrew launcher. After you format the 3ds it'll ask to set up it again.
Install menuhax again and you'll be good to go.

:)

thanks , before i installed the themes , the games in emunand are always wrapped.
but after installing themes they become unwrapped.

the problem if i format sysnand , i will not be able to sign in on my NNID on emunand.

Yes you can. But you need to use tinyformat and not the system settings format. Tinyformat won't connect to Nintendo servers to unregister your NNID.

i go to only format my sysnand , just like that ?

Also, should i use the cia or 3dsx ?

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

Fuuu, i just run tinyfirmat on emunand and all my stuff are gone

I didn't realize that after i pressed the button.

The best you can do is do a backup of all your saves with savedatafiler and format emunand, then after formatting emunand you can login to your NNID without any problem :\ but you'll lose all your installed games in emunand

Did you dump your emunand and made a sd backup?

Nope, i only have back up for my SD card 4 days ago.
No emunand backup
It's not big deal, i just lost the legit games i installed
I think the old folder inside "Nintendo 3ds" is still there, should I delete it because it's taking some serious space.

I'm sorry this went wrong but hey, I don't think formatting sysnand in your case will do anything to your NNID because sysnand was never linked in the first place

I unlinked my nands on my japanese N3DS yesterday by formatting sysnand, I didn't have any NNID on it but I did have one on emunand, I just formatted (with the SD card out) and I can still use miiverse on emunand

unless that was because I had wifi turned off when I did it, lol

Did you backup sysnand? If you have any NAND.bin backup from that 3DS, you can try injecting it into your emunand with EmuNAND Tool to recover your files: I don't think TinyFormat nor System Settings Format will delete your entire ID folder in the Nintendo 3DS folder if you're doing it in EmuNAND.

Regarding formatting sysnand, you should be running TinyFormat from the NAND you're running from. You need to boot a CFW in sysnand, like RxTools Pasta Mode or PastaCFW.

I think what you format (sys/emu-NAND) is based on how you launch it.

example 1:
Boot 3ds, choose homebrew launcher, launch tinyformat = sysNAND format

example 2:
Boot 3ds, choose emunand, open homebrew launcher (or tinyformat.cia) = emuNAND format

Huh.
I thought it was common sense to format Sysnand with that, not emunand.

If it fails, would be because nintendo thinks you already own a 3ds with that nnid linked

when i saw the options ,i thought if i pressed Y , it will ask me which nand should i format
Hm. It does not. It just formats whatever you're on and for unlink that better be sysnand.

I mean, formatting Emunand will effectively also unlinked your Nands. It makes no difference if you set up a fresh console and fresh card without any savegames or stuff. But if you had data on there, well, then that's gone.

Is there a mod version or something?
Because I think this is not the first time I've heard about "tinyformat let you choose between your nands"

Well, I'm pretty sure it doesn't. I didn't use it myself I must confess. In my tutorial I just point people to unlink before even setting up cfw so things like that can't happen.
