never had a single issue with FBI installing cias, also it has a delete feature, so you ca delete titles from installed from sysnand which is useful

"works for me" is the least useful thing someone can say in computing

FBI/Big Red Menu don't work with some DLC I've tried, so I don't use them anymore.

I have heard about people having problems reinstalling dlcs with fbi, so they had to use bbm to be able to

Edit:
Lol, it was you, nvm

well this isnt computing we literally have the same hardware just 2 different variants so a list of *not working cias* should have been doable to make by now. (but we all know it comes down to a CIA issue not console)

But i dunno installing 64gb of A list titles that quite a few still get updates and successfully installing the DLC with no updates must be a thing right?

The only thing i have really had mixed reports with it installing is the DLC for MiiPlaza but that is a grey subject everyone has issues with it

Only issue i have seen with that is it fails to install after deleting the installed stuff then will keep failing, Restarting FBI fixes that

Then your DLC is bad
lol no. FBI is fine for installing DLC, it's once the eShop deletes that DLC. FBI will no longer reinstall that DLC. BBM/DevMenu will though.

As for the OP's question, I don't really know. I personally use FBI more than DevMenu/BBM. Only times I see myself using BBM is for reinstalling DLC that my eShop deleted.
After I found out SocketPunch existed, I fell in love with FBI even more! (1.5MBps for installing things is decent)

I never mentioned anything about the eShop

according to 3dsbrew on of these is your MicroSD card management ID

20023100
20024100
20025100
microSD Management ('mcopy') (New_3DS-only)

I use this to compare http://www.3dsdb.com/ and yeah I would love to see actual app names in a CIA installer even if its just a local database file for reference.

Thank so 3dsbrew can check those cia app from gbatemp right?

it not a big deal but i backup my emunand + game every update so i want it clean have something doesnt work kinda... annoying
it only has a list of the ID's of System titles from official firmware, assuming that the microsd card management uses the same ID on the one you installed should work
