Hi
After downgrading my n3DS to 9.2, I set up an emuNAND (my CFW is ReiNand).
Everything works fine, I can do everything I should be able to do on a CFW.
But, I'd like to update my emuNAND (to 10.3, I think ReiNand "only" supports up to 10.3). I don't know if I have to unlink them to do so or if just I can update it from emuNAND without any risk for my sysNAND (regular update from console's settings? Update with sysUpdater?)
Also, if I have to unlink them, the only solution I've found is the easiest one : format sysNAND.
The problem is, this is my first console (in fact, it was originally an o3DS (with ambassador program and all the stuff) and I did a system transfert to my n3DS when I bought it), and I have a lot of games on it and a lot of saves on it, and I DON'T want to lose them. So formating my sysNAND isn't for me.
So my questions are :
- Can I update safely my linked emuNAND without any risk for my sysNAND ?
- If I have to unlink them, can I do this without formatting my sysNAND (formatting emuNAND instead ?) ?
And if possible I'd like to know what are the benefits of (un)linked NANDs. I heard a lot of things but never the same things :/
Thank you very much for your help, and sorry for my English, it's not my first language ^^"
