Hacking Good guide for using Gateway 3.7.1 on N3DS XL on 9.2

Anyone know a good guide? I haven't been on in awhile and am wondering if I still need an ocarina of time copy for doing the hack?

Nope no game required anymore, Gateway now have a launcher that can be ran from the HBL, so you can use browserhax

i literally have gone through all the steps but cannot get GW working on N3ds XL on 9.2U firmware everytime i go into GW menu in HBL it goes through a red screen then 2seconds later it transitions to a black screen. but i swear i cannot fine a guide thats specifically for n3ds 9.2 GW setup. please help if anyone is intrested we can even share screens on skype so you can walk me through the process while examining if im doing it correctly. but honestly im getting so frustrated with the lack of all the methods failing for me.

So you can get into hbl right?

Try renaming the gw.3dsx to boot.3dsx and try to load hbl. Make sure you have the gw launcher.dat on the root as well.

Last make sure the red card is out to ensure you get the gw menu

well it seems to be the GW launcher. everytime i start it the GW launcher from the Menuhax HBL it goes into a redish screen mode then it transitions into a black screen and freezes. i promise you that launcher dat. is inside the root of the SD card everything is working fine but i have no clue i cannot launch from 3.7.1 can anyone help me with this whos encountered a similar situation or how to solve this. i cannont even load into the GW menu even from the website on the 3DS it just states now loading

You most likely have an incomplete downgrade

ok so i found the solution!! my first try with the 10.3- 9.2 downgrade it seemed my system fully worked it was just missing literally three cia's from the 9.2 so the system would not launch GW. So i used this same process once again. and it worked like a charm
