I am using emunand with the latest 3DS version, and the latest version of each game. I am also using a 100% real Pokemon X and Alpha Sapphire copy.

When I try to redeem Mew through code, it says I am unable to redeem this code on my game cart. Do you think it's because it can detect emunand? I doubt it, but any other thoughts?

Have you used the code before? The codes are single-use.
Nope, the first code I scratched off doesn't work on either copy. I'll try my second, unopened code in a sec.

edit: freshly scrated off second code doesn't work either :(

is your NNID linked on emunand?
Yes, it is. A wiki says the error message I got either means the wrong version of the game is being used (it's not, the code is for all 3DS Pokemon) or it's the wrong region. Do you think there's some way by copy of Pokemon is booting up in the JP region? I recently used a program to boot Hyrule Warriors 3DS demo (JP version)

It's US. I picked up the codes from my local Gamestop in USA
Then go back and and get another the only thing I can think of is it's no good. Are you on the latest updates for your firmwares and latest Emunand firmware and can go online?

Yeah, I'm on the latest 3DS firmware and my games are updated.

I just redeemed Hoopa codes on both X and AS on my EU new3DS, without any issues.

So unless this is a new thing starting with this particular event, it seems it's just you right now. We'll have to wait for others to find out what the deal is.

My guess though, is that you're using NTR and have a non-US language plugin sitting in your X/AS titleID plugin folders. This is really the only thing that causes this type of error.

I hope that solves your issue :)

Mew codes won't be accepted until Feb.27.
I'm pretty sure that's false. My friend just redeemed his Mew in ORAS.

That may be it. I did have a cia installed called BootNTR and I used it to do something to make Hyrule Warriors demo run. I also had some Japanese language file on my sd card. Do you know how to remove it from my system entirely?

Using a PC or ctrxplorer navigate to the plugin directory on your SD card, then delete the following folders (or their contents); 0004000000055D00 (Pokemon X) and 0004000000126000 (Alpha Sapphire).

Then it must not be the Japanese Pokemon RGBP VC's gift.
If it was the JPN RGBP VC gift, then your friend lied. Nintendo officially announced that Mew code wouldn't be accepted until Feb.27.

Hmm, I deleted the plugin folder entirely and it didn't fix anything. Do I need to run that cia and do something in there?
