There might be, depends how those video apps work, it could be as easy as converting to a special format and dumping it into the romfs.
Which means users that still have it installed might be able to watch videos, and it could be a legit cia too because they are preinstalled.

What i want to experiment with is the Dinosaur Office pre-installed cia, my friend had it on his o3ds, but that got stolen.
Does anyone know if it was a SD app or a NAND app?
I found some videos, but the creator of the thread said they were NAND apps, which would restraint our file size and be dangerous.
There was no Dinosaur Office though and they were all taken from 3DNUS, the Dinosaur Office one is special as it was preinstalled.

of course, you can buy movies on the eshop, at least on the jp store you can.

why not use one of the free 3d videos from the eshop?
I could, I'll try that kid Icarus one, however i think the Dinosaur Office is a legit cia, so it's special.

Also, some of these videos could be like Nintendo Zone, open it's RomFS and you got a whole bunch of html files.
By that i mean it could be a mp4 file or the like, a bit unlikely though.

This is so great, and thanks for all the help. If This works, people can stop converting into 8-20 10 minute files with wonky fps.
Do any of the streaming services for the 3DS work in 3D? I know Netflix has a few 3D titles. While packing a single movie into a CIA would be great...an app that can launch 3d files in a standard format would be even better. What 3D format does the 3ds use? Is it sbs?

I still have the dinosaur office vedio on my emuNAND could I help you in any way? Also if you delete it it's available in the eshop to redownload and is shown in the data management and goes if you remove the sd card so hopefully its not in the nand.

Yup it was preinstalled never tampered with it...I willprovide the dump but it might take a while cause im in bed and my parents would kill me if i get up

I think a few of the early systems could benefit from that, at least up to the 8 bit generation, by the 16 bit generation I think TVs had gotten a lot better in almost every way
