Hacking Is 128GB micro sd card okay to use, or should I buy 64GB?

I have 9.0 sysnand and I believe 10.5 emunand with reinand and have been using a 32GB sd card so far. But that's not enough, especially since I sold my Sky. I just want to know if it's okay to use a 128GB card or should I play it safe and get a 64GB one? I've searched the discussions on this on GBA temp but I'm still unsure, some people have had issues.

I use 128GB Micro SD card in my N3DS XL, and haven't had a single issue. Sysnand is 9.0, EmuNAND is 9.5

It works fine, just make sure you get one with a decent read spead because your system menu will load slower if you install a bunch.

I'm also using 128gb with 13gb left free space. I have a 1-2 delay when all my stuff initially loads up but after that it's all fine.

Just make sure it's formatted FAT32 i believe.

Excellent, I'm looking forward to filling it full of games. Would any micro sd that has "class 10" on it be fine in terms of speed? "Kingston SDC10G2/128GBFR 128G Class 10 Micro SD (SDHC)" seems to be the cheapest in Australia at 90AUD (65 USD). With the 32GB I have now I used the same rationale, that because it had class 10 written on it that it would be fast enough and it seems to be.

Just adding to this.
I dont know about Mac. but on Windows you will not be able to format an SD (microSD too) to Fat32, it will only let you choose extFAT or NTFS. You need to google a "Fat32 Formatter" I believe thats the name of the program/app just download it and run it with the microSD (in a SD card adapter then into PC/laptop) just point the formatter to the drive letter of the microSD and run the formatter (just make sure it says FAT32!), after its done you should be golden.
Currently using a 64GB microSD in a SD Adapter in my O3DS 9.2 (10.5), works great used same method I mentioned.

any brand will work as long as the card is not fake
to avoid fake cards go to a physical store to buy the sd card online retailers (ebay/amazon/others like them) can not be trusted

No one should be using FBI for anything always use BBM for content or Dev Menu for system title installs.

Just setup my 128gb sandisk, also no issues with fbi installing cias ect.

there is your problem . . . go to the store or maybe the link xenon hacks provided (it seems to ship from sandisk directly)

the best advice i can give is the sd card should cost at least $30usd (mine was $35usd at a wallmart) anything less and its likely fake and/or corrupt

30 is still to low IMO the link I gave is perfect and is covered under a 10 year warranty but if he wants he can always try a Walmart or Office Depot.

yup mine was 35 on sale (at wallmart) with a one year warranty (a steal really) but honestly though i never needed to redeem a warranty on a sd card . . . ever
