Hacking Xenoblade chronicle X US DVD updated my system to 5.5.0

i followed the steps in here used

after following the steps i checked my wii u storage and the update was there turned on the game and it did system update please help what did i do wrong?

install ok
after that i ran DVD and game updated my system to 5.5.0

Which steps ?
There are a few steps for different purposes.
You should have done this one:
Spoofing to 5.5.1 (Permanent)

However - it's not too bad.
Just update to 5.5.1 and set up tubehax for the future.
Hykems iosu should be released soon for <=5.5.1

You ran the new wupinstaller that doesn't work right on 5.3.2 at all. Crediar stated on the wupinstaller site that "Install OK" means that something went wrong. The older version of wupinstaller that is on wiiubrew is what you should have used. I'm afraid you have to wait for 5.5+ exploits or Hykem's IOSU exploit now.

ok so just bought another wii u system with 5.3.2 please someone tell me the exact steps needed to play sure the disc doesn't update my system to 5.5.0, so far bought 3 wiiu and most of them got updated to 5.5.0 lol

u may have a firewall/antivirus blocking your self hosting try to disable them all see if that works. and google wii u title id database don't think its allowed to post id's not sure thou.

You bought 3 wiiu's? Really? Why wouldn't you just use one of them to play high firmware games?

I'm not entirely sure where I read about the latest wupinstaller not orking on 5.3.2, but it was on GBATemp somewhere.
