I've successfully finished installing rxtools and separated sysNAND and emuNAND (in Jan,16) but, it kept freezing on me after some time and my sd card got corrupted. I then restored the NAND.bin (it restored all my games, saves, and stuff) after completion it SOFTBRICKED my n3ds. So, after softbricking my n3ds and having it update to 10.4 using recovery mode...I can't seem to access anything using nnid (eshop, miiverse, nnid setting) I keep getting the dreaded Error 022-2634 I've googled and noticed that the only way fix it is to format my n3ds and I don't want to do that because of 5 years of saves and stuff. (Browser and friends list seem to work somehow) AM I SCREWED? SHOULD I UPDATE TO 10.5? SHOULD I WAIT FOR 10.4 TO GET "HACKED"? plz someone help...:(

Sadly, only way to fix it is to somehow remove your NNID from being logged in (technically, not log-out, as it's already logged out server-side) and re-login it, and the only way to do that is to format your system, or use a NAND image that doesn't have an NNID logged-in and login there, then restore your NAND back (can be achieved thu emuNAND)

Not sure if there's another way.

Here's an idea. Delete your internet connection on the 3ds and try reconnecting.

Umm...that's a problem I think, cause doesn't the emuNAND create unallocated space to the sd card? When my sd card got corrupted all the 62.2 gb was unallocated and I couldn't even see the files in it and did a "deep clean on it"...I did made a BEFORE and AFTER backups, will those somehow help?

Do a new backup with your SD exactly the way it is. Then, use TinyFormat, restore your backup onto the SD, and try again.

You can backup all your save files using homebrew and do a system format. Then after formatting, login your nnid and re-download all deleted contents + restore the save backup via homebrew (svdt)

You need to update to 10.5 to login your NNID though.

  1. Backed up my emunand with the desktop tool.

  2. Backed up my emunand folder inside the Nintendo 3ds folder.

  3. Formatted emuNand via system settings (don't remove SD card).

  4. After going through setup (name, date, region, etc) I linked my NNID on system settings.

  5. Used emunand9 to restore my emunand backup I made on step 1 (the desktop tool didn't work for restoring).

  6. Transfered my emunand Nintendo 3ds folder back to the SD card.

From Reddit I tired it and it works

I thought TinyFormat was userland?
Even if it was, he still cannot restore back his sd card contents, as the 3ds will probably read/write to a new nintendo 3ds folder.

Yes, you still can.
