IIRC Happy Home Designer won't launch unless you have the update installed, since it's an EU game you can't download the EU update on the US eShop using a US 3DS.

You could firmware spoof with HANS but HANS wont boot at all...

There exists a legit cia of HHD, as it came preinstalled on a new 3ds xl in Eur. OoT was never in a preinstalled bundle so there's no legit cia of it.

If you're on a eur console, I think you have to delete it in data mangement and redownload from the eshop. If on another region, you have to use HANS with grid layout to launch it.

I have a US 3ds... So I would have to use HANS with my grid launcher to boot it? I think I tried to boot AC:HHD with HANS but it just kept a red screen.

I think it needs at least 9.9 or 9.8 from memory. If you have a high enough firmware and it won't work then I'm not sure what's wrong sorry :-/

ACHHD needs a update, because your not on a EUR eshop you cant download the update so it doesn't work.

It wouldn't be legit because the old ACHHD is the only legit cia because that version is a bundle.

If a brick happens and you go in recovery mode and it fixes itself, it automatically updates to 10.4 so you wont be able to downgrade at all after that.

But you never know.

Im not downgrading till its much more simpler.
