Hi there,

I downgraded my N3DS from 10.3 to 9.2 yesterday, installed menuhax and all seems to be working well. I have an O3DS which I use gateway with using the DS profile hack and that works fine. However, I've just copied the gateway 3dsx to the sd card, latest launcher.dat to root but can't get gateway working on this.

If I load gw.3dsx from homebrew launcher with no gateway card i get the gateway menu fine, but no wayh to load my games off it. I pick gateway mode it just goes back to homebrew launcher. If I load gw.3dsx with the gateway card in the n3ds at the time, i just get a black screen at bottom and gw logo at top.

Can anyone offer any advice on how to get it setup so I can load my backed up games off my gw on this new downgraded n3DS please?

Thanks

no it will not it just makes an emunand on your sd card.
shut your mouth. Yes it will delete SD card contents. @_Belial you must copy everything from your SD card to your PC first, then format emunand, then copy everything back. In the meantime, holding the L button will bring up the menu even with the red card inserted and before switching to emunand, you can hold the B button while pressing A on Gateway mode, and that will load Gateway mode on your sysnand. From there, you can play games from your Red card, as long as they are capable of running on such a low firmware.

Bruh i edited my comment before you posted. As long as he backs up his sd card he will be able to keep his games.

Just trying to look out for a newb. And your reply Still begins with "no it will not"

Oh, yes, it will!
What I meant was that his games wont be removed from the system for good by formatting the emunand if he backs up his sd, not that he should not back up his sd because he is safe either way.

It sounds like your O3DS has homemenuhax set up in Emunand. Boot up gateway mode while holding your homemenuhax trigger button, then change your theme inside of Emunand to uninstall it from the NAND.

Make sure your nands are unlinked or you will need to reinstall homemenuhax on sysnand, too.

How do I unlink the nands?

Thanks

First back up your emunand with EmuNAND9 or EMUNAND tool, then use tinyformat to format sysnand.

Back up your /Nintendo 3ds/ folder (not to be confused with /3ds/) in case anything goes wrong.

OK just updating, got tinyformat installed + emunand9, backed up my emunand, and ran tinyformat on sys to unlink the nands. However, how do I get my old paid-for eShop titles back? I copied everything from the Nintendo 3DS folder back to the SD card but they still don't show up?

Also, is there a known issue with teh super stable 3D after downgrading? It just doesn't work at all now.
