I apologise in advance if starting a new thread to ask a question is too selfish of me, I am new to posting here but have been a long time casual lurker.

Recently upon discovering I could downgrade my O3DS XL from 10.1.0-27 E to 9.2.0-20 E and now have access to the homebrew menu and RxTools emunand directly from boot up via CtrBootManager and MenuHax. It all is setup however one major problem still exists.

Unknowingly I unlinked my NNID from my Sysnand when it was formatted, (almost every thread seems to suggest that formatting sysnand to unlink nands was the way to go), however now I realise, well, I can't connect to eshop and all that jazz to redownload and play the games I bought previously, at this point I don't care about saves I just want my content and online functionality back but on emunand however due to it being unlinked I get error code 022-2634 whenever trying to sign into NNID in system settings. I've seen people suggest signing my NNID in on sysnand because it is tied to the console serial or something and would thus allow online access on emunand, but that would no doubt give me an update prompt.

So I ask how would I go about rectifying this and getting my NNID linked to Emunand?

Should I format Emunand in system settings and get a new nand and try signing in? (It currently is on the latest 10.3.0-28 E)
Or is the NNID still tied to my Sysnand that was formatted despite the fact that I haven't signed in on it for obvious reasons.

I intend on keeping my sysnand purely as a base to exploit and now use emunand as my legit system version.

I thank you all in advance for your time to help me.

Thanks for the link but for some reason formatting my Emunand just formatted my sysnand instead. Is there something I did wrong? I was certain to be in emunand before doing so

You should have backed up your SD Card files before doing System Format on your EmuNand as your entire SD card will be wiped. Then restore those files after linking the NNID on EmuNand.

I see no reason for your SysNand to be formatted if you're in EmuNand. Have you unlinked the Nands in previous steps? Once your EmuNand was created you should have unlinked your SysNand by doing a system format on it but with the SD card taken out.

I did backup my sd before the format as it is always a wise thing to do. I did unlink them which is how my emunand was on the latest and not my sysnand. Perhaps the issue was that it was done accidently with the SD card in, however I thought it didn't matter because I had made a backup and, well, everything seemed to function except for the online stuff. Is the problem the fact that I had a NNID linked to the 3ds in the first place? Because the last 2 formats have forced me to be connected to the internet to verify with nintendo. What is there to do from here?
