Hacking [QUESTION] EMUNAND on New 3ds (RXtools adn Reinand)

Hi guys just a quick question

Up until to what version can we update the emunand on New 3ds? From what I know we can update upto 9.5 for Rxtools (although my information might be outdated). For Reinand, up until what version is supported?

For the New 3ds currently we can update up to 9.5 with Rxtools (but once Rxtools 3.0 will be out it will be up to 10.3).
With Reinand you can already update it to 10.3.

Can we update the emunand in the same way from rxtools on reinand? I'm on reinand (not 3.0 yet) so would I need a special firmware.bin or just update in emunand? Thanks in advance!

Now that there is not a 3ds 10.4 firmware yet, you can update EmuNAND via System settings to 10.3 with ReiNAND.
With Rxtools, you need to grab the 9.5 Firmware from that ISO site, then install it with SysUpdater.

So that's the reason why I got a black screen after I've updated my emunand to 10.3 (N3DS). I think I'll wait for RXtools 3.0.

Yes your EmuNAND is probably bricked now. Did you do an EmuNAND backup first?

Thanks for the quick response! Would you recommend I update to reinand 3.0 from my current 2.1 first before I update emunand? Sorry if it's a silly question, just want to make for certain

Unfortunately no, I totally forgot about that. I gues I'll just have to redo the whole process again.
