my 3ds folder with all the 3ds apps in it deletes all the files inside that folder

Umm... Is your sd card write protected? And are you using a good boot.3dsx?

This is very very odd.. What are your doing when it deletes itself?

fixed it was my reader

If it keeps doing that, replace your SD card. I had an SD card which wouldn't write things sometimes, so things that I copied wouldn't be on there and things I deleted off of there would still be on the card.
