Hacking Is it possible to send all my games, saves and miis to EMUnand?

The idea is for me to not have to use Sysnand again

Right now my old digital games and saves are all in Sysnand

Also my miis... and i have A LOT of em. And i didnt even started to play Tomodachi


- Would i miss something if i got everything into EMUnand? Is there anything that is only possible on Sysnand?

um you cant see the Manual in games or in the 3ds menu in CFW nex to open on the botum skreen

It easy , format emunand (backup sd card) and format sysnand without having your sd in your 3ds, when you use emunand again, it will have all your data as before but with a fresh sysnand

I backed up my NAND before creating EmuNAND. Backed up SD before creating EmuNAND. Created EmuNAND, formatted sysNAND, and placed everything back on my SD card, and now I cannot find my digital games anywhere on my home screen. On my Nintendo 3ds folder I have two strings of numbers, and in the string of numbers that's bigger there's two more folders with long strings of numbers. Am I supposed to combine those or something?

When you "Format EmuNAND" (on Gateway Launcher) iirc it makes a 1:1 copy of your SysNAND which includes all of your saves, Friend Cards, Mii's etc so you actually keep them all. So just by creating EmuNAND itself you'll essentially transfer everything over. Just dont format your EmuNAND, and create a backup of it just incase things go haywire. Yes, a backup of your EmuNAND.

If you're interested in unlinking your NANDs (to get rid of unwrapping glitch and many others) format your SysNAND (take SD out before format, put it back in before 3DS restart). Note that you will lose everything on your SysNAND, but your EmuNAND is still in the condition it was from before you actually wiped it. After that, create a backup of both SysNAND and EmuNAND. Your EmuNAND will now be safe to the point you backed it up to.

That's atleast how it worked for me to keep everything from before i exploited my 3DS. Sadly i wipe my EmuNAND very often so i've lost all of my Friend Cards etc atleast 5 times over already.

That is correct, that's what it should be like for everyone if tutorials are followed correctly. Sysnand will be fresh, Emunand holds all your previous data.

"the" tutorial? Which one? Any serious tutorial will tell you to remove microsd before unlink or everything will be lost. Makes sense also, because your card is formatted if you leave it in.

If your Emunand is clean and your Sysnand has the old stuff, you formatted EmuNand for unlink and not sysnand as the tutorial suggested.

Try restoring your NAND and Nintendo 3ds folder that were backed up on the same date. Not sure if this works on emuNAND though.

Are you absolutely sure you got in emunand? That sounds correct: SysNAND formatted so nothing is on it. The larger folder in Nintendo 3DS is the one you're using for EmuNAND, which is where all your games are.

Are you in EmuNAND? Did you boot with RxTools or Cakes? Hold L when booting them to double-check that you're not booting into SysNAND.

The tutorial I was tearing apart yesterday left the choice up to the user (to format either sysnand or emunand). Saying "the" tutorial on this site isn't helpful in the slightest.

If you already have an emunand, then the shortest path to what you want is to backup your sysnand-> remove the SD card-> format sysnand-> and on your PC, inject that sysnand backup into emunand using emunandtool. Done. And keep that original sysnand backup safe on your computer.

But afterwords, you will need to setup your NNID again on your sysnand or accessing eshop will error out on you in emunand.

Make emunand, restore your sd card with your backup files, check if emunand still has your stuff , format sysnand, load emunand in fresh sysnand,see if your things will still be there,???, profit
