1. If you do things right, nothing will happen to them.
2. I don't know for Miiverse, but for eShop you would lose access to it until you firmware spoof your N3DS.
3. Same answer as 1.
4. Yes.
Yup. It's stable enough to be recommended to everybody, so you should update now.
I've managed to get my 2ds down to 9.2 and rxtools working, but I've only used a 4gb card, how do I swap this to another card as when I try with my 8gb or 128gb(which I have installed an emunand on) it won't allow me to install any cia files? nor will it let me delete them ( will only allow me to on the 4gb card)
So I do the set up it formats, Then boot into RX tools and pick emunand and it should work? Do i need to dump my nand? All it says in the folder is Starter bin and a text file.

I'm pretty sure you can just drag all the files onto the new SD card. Just be sure that the format is Fat32 otherwise your 2ds may not be able to read it.

I formatted it through emunand so its correct, I copied everything over but FBI just fails installing everything but yet works fine my 4gb, does it matter what brand the SD card is? I remember the old days of PSP hacking the memory stick had to be a decent brand

So, I finally got to downgrade and install rxTools, everything working well and all.
I just have a couple questions:
- My emunand [Which is where I can install cias, if I read everything right] and my sysnand are both in 9.2.0-20U. Do I need to update any of them in order to play newer games? I have several physical games that may not be playable on 9.2
- I have several digital games that come from the eShop. Is there a way to access them and the eShop safely from either nand?
I've yet to format an emuNAND partition because I'm waiting on a larger SD card. I've not formatted the sysNAND. If a format had occurred, I assumed the first alphanumeric folders would not match just as they did when I unlinked the emuNAND and sysNAND on my N3DS XL.
My o3DS XL console's sysNAND was on 10.1. I performed a backup of my SD card before attempting to downgrade it to 9.2. After multiple failed attempts to downgrade using sysUpdater (sysUpdater was unresponsive whenever the menu successfully appeared on the top screen), I opted to follow a guide suggesting you rapidly load and close ftBRONY before loading sysUpdater. On the first attempt, sysUpdater was responsive and successfully downgraded the console to 9.2. When the console automatically rebooted, both screens remained black. After a hard shutdown followed by boot up, both screens were still black. I concluded I was experiencing a soft brick. I chose to delete theNintendo 3DS folder rather than attempting to boot in recovery mode to resolve the soft brick. The soft brick was resolved and I then began restoring the backup, dbs, and title folders from my 10.1 backup folder to the SD card. I, at first, neglected the extdata folder because it already existed on the SD card. It was during this process I noticed the folder name inconsistency. The console booted fine and all of my downloaded apps appeared in the menu. I then decided to attempt restoring the extdata folder from the backup copy to the SD card. I experienced another soft brick when booting. After deleting the Nintendo 3DS folder and again restoring the backup, dbs, and title folders, I concluded the backup extdata folder caused the soft brick. If I were ambitious enough, I would follow a similar procedure to determine which extdata files caused the soft brick to occur.
Athough I successfully downgraded my console, I have a few questions.
Why does it seem as though rapidly loading and closing ftBRONY before loading sysUpdater prevents the app from freezing?
I noticed the second 32 character alphanumeric folder in my backup 10.1Nintendo 3DSfolder did not match the second 32 character alphanumeric folder in the 9.2Nintendo 3DSfolder. Why is this?
(10.1) Nintendo 3DS\ed2e2c6a28c6ac29749c28b55c8cbee9\3e29ccdd5b7ba66a323e19440eca56a7 and (9.2) Nintendo 3DS\ed2e2c6a28c6ac29749c28b55c8cbee9\d3d094ca7e7bbacb565923ebc6a05a41
I observed that restoring theextdatafolder caused a soft brick to reoccur, but restoring thebackup, dbs, andtitlefolders did not. Why is this?
I've a O3DS on 10.3 USA, can i install legit cias from other regions on it? it will be reconigzed as a legit game? Can I play those cia's online (even if it were from other region) and update my console on the future?

I want to keep my 3DS on the newest fw possible cause i still play online.
If i do the downgrade and install legit and non legit cias, can i update it after and still hav the non legit games?

This is the error in getting, I've also noticed I have a 3 black squares on my home menu in rxtools, possibly I installed them on my nand instead of my SD before so they're now broken?
Thank both guys, but i till have an doubt:
Can i install all those cia's that are legit and keep updating my 3DS w/o problems? Does have a legit cia from another region on the 3DS (for exemple, Europe legit cia on USA 3DS) cause any problem?

Q: I'm getting a "Database does not exist" / "Invalid database" error!
A: You likely haven't installed anything from eShop or other locations before. You will need to go to the "Nintendo 3DS/<id0>/<id1>/dbs/" directory on your SD card and create empty "title.db" and "import.db" files. Then, go to System Settings -> Data Management -> Nintendo 3DS -> Software on your 3DS and let it repair the database files.
To create empty title.db and import.db files in Windows, open Notepad. Click on "File" and select "Save As." Choose your desired save location. Name the file "title.db" and select "All Files" for "Save as type." Repeat these steps for import.db, but name the file "import.db".
it doesnt reset the firmware, it literally boots you back into sysnand when you leave. since both nands seem to share system settings even when unlinked, there's nothing to be done about it, other than being aware of it
...Oh. Thanks for clearing that up. Is there, by any chance, any other instance that I need to be aware of, or is this the only trigger?
edit: and guys, if i format the system (without the SD Card), I wouldn't have to go through all the (cfw) installation processes again, would I? I plan to switch my NNID.

I think so for the update? Just don't save edit it or change the data via other means. According to that thread on legit CIA, it is no has a valid signature once you do those, which may cause it not to work.
Not sure about other region CIA, might be easier to have CFW for that.

if they get permission from 4j (the studio who helped put minecraft on consoles), they could put the console edition tutorial worlds in the game, as seeds
and i mean all of them (if not, maybe a few highlights, like TU1, TU31, and TU69)
