o3DSxl RX 10.3 emuNAND, I went into FBI to install some games and just installed them like I normally would (SD is usually defaulted), after the third was complete I looked at my space left and it said like 240MB, which is impossible for my sized SD card at this point, thats when I realized I was looking at NAND.

I turned the system off when I noticed this. What should I do now? Is there a way to verify if I did actually install them there, and if I have, is there a way to safely remove them? Thanks

Just use FBI to delete the titles from the NAND.

Check in 3dsdb.com to check for the ID

I've booted into FBI, do I just press the left trigger to select the destination as NAND, and then go to my CIA folder and choose select the delete cia mode, and press the ones I installed? Is that enough? Or are they hidden in a different folder with the ID you're talking about?

edit: is there a way I can verify if I've installed them to the NAND by booting into my emuNAND/sysNAND? I don't even know if I just bumped the trigger after picking it back up.

no you have to hit right trigger until you you get a list of files

the games should look like this CTR-XXXX for example and in top screen they should say App in filetype and have the same file sizes as the cias you installed to nand.

what you suggest just deleted the cia files from sd card

All I can find is a list of 0701builder files etc. Where can I find them on the sd card then I guess? Which folder do they get installed to? And is it safe to just remove the installed .cia from the SD card like that? Sorry for all the questions >_>

Ok I scrolled all the way down and cross referenced the CTR files with what I think I had installed on 3dsdb, and they're not there. So am I right in assuming I probably just bumped the trigger after I completed the installs? Or what are some things I might notice if I try to play normally that would only happen if I installed to NAND?

They all say system. None say app, and none are close to the filesize of the .cia's I thought I installed to the NAND.

Do you see the installed games in the home Menu? Because if they were installed to the NAND and they're not system titles, they aren't going to be usable, I think.

Just get DevMenu and don't use FBI ever again.

Wait, if you install something on the emuNAND it's still installed on the SD card. What difference does it make if you select NAND or SD?

NAND is the 1GB internal memory in the 3DS, only system titles and DSiware should EVER be installed here, anything else installed here will be unusable.

SD is where every other game/app is installed, regardless if you are in sysnand or emunand it will is stored inside the Nintendo 3DS folder in the SD card.

You didn't think that the 30GB worth of games you installed went all to the 1GB nand/emunand partition did you?

No, not the games. But I figured the 3DS would install small apps, like Youtube e.t.c. on the nand by default. :)

I made this same mistake last night (I installed a cia to NAND by tapping L on fbi) and have no idea how to get the icon of pokemon blue off my sysnand menu.
I tried deleting it with FBI (tapping R to get to the installed NAND files) and had no luck. I don't see it when I cross reference the CTR files on 3dsdb.
So yeah, big dumb mistake. Is there any other way of removing it?
Thank you.

Edit:
I see only one file that shows up as "app" bit it's code doesn't match 3dsdb. That's gotta be it though right?
CTR-P-RCRP is what I see. But 3dsdb lists it as BBB-PKBL

When you're in the file removal list, tap L to display NAND titles. It shows titles on sdcard by default.
Also, reference by title id instead.

BBB is probably short for BigBlueBox. Check the titleID, and check so you're actually displaying NAND titles

Thank you, I'm currently at work but I'll try that once home.
If I Google "CTR-P-RCRP"it comes back as pokemon blue so that's gotta be it.
Just hope I don't brick when I remove it, but at least I now know never to do this again!
