Homebrew OS X fix for "Failed to get CIA info!"

Anyone who uses OSX and receives the above error message, plug your sd card into your computer, open terminal and type "dot_clean" then hit space and drag the updates folder from your sd card into the terminal window, so it reads "dot_clean /path/to/folder"

I did this and am now happily on 9.2!

From what I understand this also applied to Linux users as it's a problem with Unix based Operating Systems
But yes, this is what I did when I downgraded and it worked perfectly (also, if you're installing multiple CIA files, run dot_clean before you remove your SD card so you can install them in one go)

use something like bluharvest to always clean your sd card in the background or something when you use it

I wasted hours upon hours until i properly flashed a better drive lol. Im downgraded too since yesterday wondering if it was really worth all the trouble lol.

This is specifically a Mac issue, Linux doesn't create those .ds_store etc. files.
I have no idea about BSD, but at least Linux doesn't have this issue.

I only learned about this command very recently...

I also made a very quick program that is supposed to remove these files (as well as .DS_Store and desktop.ini just in case...) right on the 3DS, which I found very useful when helping out other mac users (easier to get them to just run something on the 3DS!)

I still see the Failed to get CIA file info!
I've tried the command and the program made by ihaveamac. The files i've got are the right ones and the sys updater that i'm using the the one in the sticky post on reddit.
