Jokes aside I would recommend waiting before updating emunand, let other users confirm that updating emunand is safe.
Or make your own backup and then try, if it doesn't work anymore then you can restore a backup.

Wait why are people saying rip wifi? Since when does the 3DS force updates?

They can force updates on the browser since firm 9.9. Once the title update is available and you go online, a flag is triggered in your nand that locks out the title until you internet full update. Worse, carts with firm 9.9+ will actually stub your browser if you update with them. You then have to redownload the browser with a full internet firmware update!

Welp, time to downgrade. I was waiting for KTM but if do not downgrade i wont be able to update emunand to 10.3 and if i keep waiting, i'm risking that emunand doesn't work in 10.4, if it ever gets released.

its great, like, a week ago, everyone was urging everyone to stay calm and wait, now everyone is in panic, telling people to downgrade asap, chaos has rarely been bigger since so much stuff happened in a few days, so many random guides appearing to do this or that. yeah. that's nice.

i guess I'll wait for the weekend, hoping thing's will be a bit more cleaned up by then and someone copies together all the relevant guides to downgrade and where to go from there or something.

Hah, I wish I could just go and download a CFW, plug in my Gateway, and get free games easily. Sadly, you can still only do that on 9.2.

well you can downgrade plus when we get the gateway support it will be the new 9.2 free games do work on 10.30 but you cannot do custom cias which means only piracy

You still have to downgrade though, which can fail, and brick your 3DS. Low chance, but, you know. Unless gateway does something about it..then. 10.3 yeah..is the 9.2.

Downgrading isn't very easy and risks a brick.
