Hacking 3DS @ 2.2.0-0U - Need help upgrading and running RXTools

Hello,

It's been awhile and I need a little brain refresh on how to hack my niece's 3DS - it's running firmware 2.2.0-0U and I have a gateway card and cubic ninja.

The ultimate goal is to boot straight into rxtools without having to touch anything.

Any quick advice is appreciated.

Basic steps: Update to 4.x or 6.x firmware with a cartridge, setup rxtools MSET with the Gateway Blue card, then follow the instructions to setup rxtools using one of the tutorials.

Do not update past 6.x firmware or the process will be much harder!

There are tons of threads asking this exact same thing over and over...

Why can't you just search it up??? Not to be mean but this questions has been asked like a thousand times in this forum.

1)Update to 4.x using a game cardtridge.
2)Use a DS flashcart to install mset exploit and boot rxTools.
3)Use rxTools Dev Mode with sysupdater to update to 9.2
4)Install Menuhax and ctrbootmanager to autoboot rxTools.

Please don't ask details for each step, we and other users have literally answered in detail to this question hundreds of times before and there are also guides written how to do it in this very same forum...

But hey, every noob wants to make a new thread asking the same thing rather than finding the answer in google or doing a forum search in less than 5 minutes.

I have no problem with people asking questions when they don't understand something.

Things get a little complex at times with all the terms, things to do and the last thing you want to do is brick your system or mess up and update sysnand for not understanding something clearly, specially when you are new to the scene.

That's totally fine with me, I have a trouble when there is a stickied guide in plan "TUTORIAL TO HACK YOUR SYSTEM/EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW HERE" and people rather make a new thread asking "CAN I HAKZ MY SYZTEM?
