I got the Menuhax entrypoint set up on my N3DS 9.0 Sysnand set up a treat.
I set it to auto-boot into the Homebrew Launcher when you power on and no buttons are press.
Then I just launch the Gateway Menu and I'm in emunand!

It'd odd though, I dunno why it's behaving this way but launching Gateway menu via Menuhax like this doesn't give me a menu, with Classic Mode, rom dumping, NAND dumping, etc.
I could swear that much worked when I was using Cubic Ninja to boot into Homebrew Launcher, and I launched Gateway menu that way.

It's not a major issue though, I can always fall back on my OoT cart to boot the Gateway menu like before if I actually need those features. Seamless boot into emunand is lovely!
If the menu launches while the red card is inserted, it skips the menu and goes straight to emuNAND. The reason you got the menu coming up under cubic ninja was that your red card wasn't inserted. If you want the menu to come up, boot it without the red card.

I do have Cubic Ninja but I'm currently using downgraded mset way on N3DS. I'm new with all this homemenuhax and autoboot thing. If someone can explain in steps how to set up autoboot GW from 9.0 sysnand. I already have unlinked nands. Thanks.

People kept saying how GW would probably use their blue card for ntrcardhax.
But can't they just use the red card?
I think you're a little confused. You can't use the red cart for ntrcardhax because it's a 3DS mode cart (CTR), DS mode carts are NTR carts. The entire exploit revolves around using an NTR (Nintendo DS) cart to get kernel access.

With 10.3 support this means we will also have the latest emuNAND support so no more spoofing for eShop.
Don't bet on it. There's sure to be at least one firmware update before Gateway releases their solution.

The homebrew channel (Ninjhax, on emunand.)
Obviously you can't boot Gateway from within 9.3 or higher emuNAND, because the exploits it uses have already been patched...

Reasonably confident you can't boot from a 9.0-9.2 emuNAND either though.

Is it really a 3DS mode cartridge only though?
Does it even show up as one when it's inserted in the 3DS? It only shows up as a 3DS game when you select one while in GW menu.
It plays 3DS games but it isn't exactly a conventional 3DS cartridge. DSTwo+ can run 3DS games while in GW mode, doesn't make it a 3DS cartridge.

Maybe I'm just having a dull moment. - Apparently I run it from Sysnand? The gw.3dsx? - I'm on sysnand 9.0.

I get "an error has occurred, forcing... the system will now restart" error upon scanning the QR code (ninjhax, sysnand)

The .3dsx loader works great with Blue-3ds firmware :P

You can even boot into emunand on 10.3 without the card. nice.
(doesn't work with homebrew GW launchers unfortunately)

The other interesting thing is that this loader seems to hook into the spider launcher code somehow. This is evidenced by the fact the loader works on Ultra 3.0 but not 2.7 (even on 3ds 4.5)

Could you please clarify this? Does blue-3ds's launcher.dat works without the card?

Awesome! Almost 100% boot rate with menuhax v2.1 + ctrbootmanager autobooting with no delay to gw.3dsx

Only one time it got stuck at yellow screen while menuhax boot during second boot but no issues after then, sysNAND at 9.0 and emuNAND at 9.5

Taking around 30 seconds from cold power-on to the emuNAND home menu screen (with the usual 3d issue, fixable by closing/opening lid).

PS. I didn't replace Launcher.dat file, it is still using 3.4 public beta Launcher.dat file.

I set it up the way that if:
1) I hold R during cold boot it will boot to sysNAND, or if
2) I hold SELECT during cold boot it will show ctrbootmanager menu to switch to Homebrew for example. And of course, if
3) I hold L key during cold boot it will boot to GW menu, (and without GW red cart inserted it will also boot to GW menu by default).

Nice, how do you do that? i would like to have that kind of set-up as well. I currently have a O3DS XL on sysnand 9.0 and emunand 10.1 i believe.
I alr got menuhax installed (not sure which version though..? How do i check it?) I don't have ctrbootmanager as i don't know what to do with it haha.

So far my set up is just Press L when switching on to boot to HBL and select gw.3dsx. I know it is alr so much better than going to phone and setting up.
Just want a even convenient way of launching into Emunand straight away ><

1) To make sure I removed the menuhax manager from 3ds folder that was included in starter kit and got latest 2.1 from here: https://github.com/yellows8/3ds_homemenuhax/releases
2) Ran menuhax manager from Homebrew launcher and did initial setup and specified L key to skip autoboot and to boot to sysNAND normally. Install and make sure that when you switch on console it autoboots to Homebrew launcher
3) Downloaded latest GW package, extracted just the GW_3dsx.zip in 3ds folder of console sd card (the two files will go in GW folder in 3ds folder of console sd card)
4) Then I got ctrbootmanager from here: https://gbatemp.net/threads/ctrbootmanager-3ds-boot-manager-loader-homemenuhax.398383/
5) Edited the boot.cfg file in Notepad++ and edited out both Pasta CFW and RXTools as I don't have that set up. Keep the HomeBrewMenu as second option and added this as first option:
title = "GatewayMenu";
path = "/3ds/GW/gw.3dsx";
6) Save changes in boot.cfg. Rename the boot.3dsx which is in console sd card to boot_hb.3dsx and then put boot.3dsx and the edited boot.cfg of ctrbootmanager
7) Try and see if it loads the ctrbootmanager and autoboots in 3 seconds. If everything works then edit the boot.cfg in console sd card and set timeout=0 for instant autoboot. Holding SELECT button (default setting in boot.cfg) while boot will show ctrbootmanager
8) Now, this way if you going to switch on console and don't press anything it will autoboot to GW emuNAND (if GW red cart is present). If you want to use Homebrew launcher then hold SELECT when switching on console and select HomeBrewMenu
