Hacking Flash Card for DS games "New" 3DS XL

Just got my "New" 3DS XL and Sky3ds+ some days ago but noticed recently it only plays 3DS games,
I guess i need another card for DS games? Which one is the best out there, it's on latest system version.
Im just going to use it to play ds games. Not gba, snes or anything else. Which flash card should i buy?

Take a r4i gold, it's cheap and works on latest version.

DS2 (not DS2 PLus, ) but that also would but I too but would be overkill. I'm not even sure if they're making the reguar DS2's anymore, I stocked up when tthey said they were going to discontinue... thought the Sky would play DS roms too. I'm pretty sure one of the ads indicated that, just read it a day or two ago...

There is a cheaper R4i gold or something like that that I'm pretty sure also works on the newest but DS2 has always had tthe most updated card, but not cheapest. Nothing extra ever needed and GB/C, GBA/S/NES etc compati. Nothing else like it... I've had mine 10+ years running, the very same one.... The DS1i's were good too but not for the 3ds's.

R4i Gold 3DS (r4ids.cn) is better. Official wood firmware and real time save, and the team has continued to support their flashcart.
