Homebrew Should we spoof eShop if we want to update a game?

Hello guys, i just got a popup, when i launched Super Smash Bros 3DS, that there is an update available...
Riht now my EmuNAND is on the latest version (RX-E 10.3.0-28E). I've read that some people spoof the eShop.

Should i also do it? Or can i just click the Update button when it appears?

I know, but i'm afraid it might somehow in some strange way update my sysNAND firmware instead of the game itself :/
Do you think that there is a risk that might happen?

NO NOT AT ALL it well not update your sys EVER unles its from a game card that has a update OR the update thing in the systum seding OR nintendo pote the update in thare for u and your home menu is asking you to install it THATS IT

You should be able to update smash if you are on the latest emuNAND version with a 3DS.

Now I don't have access to EmuNAND and I don't really know how it works completely so I might just learn something from asking this, but can't you just update it on EmuNAND? As far as I know spoofing eShop won't work unless you're on 10.1

I updated the game as soon as Cloud was released and made sure to only update through emuNAND and I am kicking arse with Cloud right now.

I updated the game as soon as Cloud was released and made sure to only update through emuNAND and I am kicking arse with Cloud right now.

my point is that e-shop well not update anything but the game its downloding thats what he asked well it well update if the e-shop asks him to AND HE SED YES THO BUT he cant be that dumb

When I click the game In the home menu I get 2 options:
the "A" button says "Launch the game".
and the "Y" button says "Update".

What I did was update it through the eshop. I was behind two updates after having not played for a bit due to my 3DS getting repaired. I jumped online and was told I needed to update. I think it brings you to the eshop and you can update it through there. If you are on the latest emuNAND it should be safe.

None. I was talking about just running one through homebrew launcher. im saying IF it worked, can you not install an update for a game like smash with an eshop spoof?
