Gaming Out of region games.

Hello everyone.

I have an EU 3ds firmware 9.5.0 23E and I have homebrew on in.
One feature on homebrew is that you can play out of region gamnes , so i tried in on my special ed* Fire emblem fates, and it didnt work.
My screen goes to black and stays like that.
Can someone explain what i am doing wrong?

That is the problem. Fire Emblem If requires 9.6 or later firmware, so the built-in region free feature in Homebrew Launcher will not work. Try launching the game using HANS, with firmware spoof option enabled.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but there was a new layer of encryption added to 9.6+ games, so HANS just freezes on a red screen if you try to launch it, so I don't think it's possible to play out-of-region 9.6+ games.
Until we don't get a 9.6+ EmuNAND for N3DS, we won't be able to derp around with 9.6+ games, even on an old3DS.

Note: I don't have a N3DS
