ROM Hack MHX Save copy from old 3ds to New 3ds

Hi Guys,
i play my copy at my japanese 3ds , now i got my new EU 3DS hacked ( cubic and ironfall on latest firmware) just for the region unlock . Is there a method i can use to transfer my savegame from the old 3ds to the new ? Just copy and paste dont work -.-

yes you can. use extdata dump. make empty saves new3ds first. then restore your saves.

I guess there is a little Problem . its just the New 3ds what is hacked , and i cant use the big Shdc (old 3ds) in my micro slot from the new 3ds ? Or i am wrong ? Seems like i need homebrew to do so

not need any big microSD card or SD card at this time.


only you need 10mb free space and extdata dump.

Ok i will try , so i put the data from the old 3ds to the new 3ds sd card , and open both saves rigth ?

install extdata_dump both of 3ds.
first dump old 3ds's MHX saves use specific in config option.
2nd make empty saves on your new3ds.
3rd copy dumped saves to microsd's root of extdata dump folder.
4th restore your saves use specific in config option.

also you need to edit config.txt to add these 2 lines.
on old 3ds
"00001554:/system" "system"
"00001554:/system_backup" "system_backup"

on new 3ds
"system" "00001554:/system"
"system_backup" "00001554:/system_backup"

Thx a lot , last question . again, homebrew ist just on the new 3ds not the jap old 3ds .

Man iam so dump , i also can just ninhax the jap and install homebrew -.- to dump

you need to enable homebrew on old3ds too. if you can not you can not transfer saves between new3ds. but you have CN that easy to install HBL on old3ds.

OH MY GOD. sorry AFAIK you cant transfer saves. buy jap zelda Oot or CN.

Its ok , just 100 hours ^^ , cant i just make a new save on the new 3ds and can hack my stuff in ?
