I have a 3G model Vita on firmware 3.36

I am following the instructions here:
http://wololo.net/2015/07/19/how-to-install-psm-dev-for-unity-on-ps-vita-firmware-3-20-and-above/

I just want to get my Vita and PC ready for now in case Rejuvinate ever amounts to anything

But I wanted to ask, does anyone know if these instructions will corrupt/delete any of the information currently on my Vita? I have a lot of stuff on there.

Do I have to backup my Vita then restore from the Content Manager? Or can I send that Dev thing to it without having to "merge" it with the rest of my files?

Also, I don't understand the e-mail step. When I open it in Thunderbird, it's already addressed to a test address at gmail, how do I modify it to send it to myself?

And finally, what if I don't have a game that needs an update?

No, it won't corrupt any data as far as I'm aware. I've installed it too many times :P and it hasn't deleted or corrupted a single thing! :)

You have to forward the email to yourself; you don't modify it as is.

Finally got it after much issues. I do have one last question though, since I tricked it into installing by using the update of a cartridge game I had just bought (to be specific, I used Freedom Wars), can I now update said game normally, or can I not install the original game's update it anymore?
