Hi guys, I have set up MenuHax to boot my emunand on startup without me needing to press anything(need to hold r to run sysnand),but sometimes I get stuck at a yellow bottom screen and I need to turn my system of and try again, is there any work around for this situation?

and another thing do I have to press L before every time rxTools lunches although its through MenuHax? any workaround?

rxtools isnt 100% boot even when you dont autoboot it, you can try getting a more updated version in the thread, i know someone posted a more autoboot compatble one.

Also why are you holding L to get the RXtools menu?

You dont need to holdy anything at all if you want it to boot directly to emunand

Try setting up CtrBootManager instead of rxTools autoboot. It could fix things. Find out how to do so in the tutorial in my signature.

Also not every version of rxTools boots perfectly, I had 10-02 on my N3DS, now I have 10-01 and it boots way better. That's just trial and error I believe.

I've found that every entry point fails in the same way every so often.
Getting stuck on a yellow screen or sometimes a white screen. Happened with oot3dhax, with menuhax, with cubic ninja, with browserhax (that one is already especially unstable), and with yellows8's homebrew launcher loader. Sometimes even just when resetting HBL with L+R+B+Down key combo, regardless of entry point. I think it's just a general unstability with the payloads and the exploit in general. Since it crashes some stuff it might not be possible to guarantee 100% success rate every time so we'll just have to deal with it.

You can also run menuhax 2.1 which is more reliable.
Search for offline menuhax 2.1 installer. :)

Never knew 2.1 existed, thanks for the heads up, will do a search now

Will i need to remove 2.0 completely or can i just overwrite with 2.1 when i find it ?

@zoogie (sorry for tagging you but i am confused)

Searched specifically for "offline menuhax 2.1 installer" also for "menuhax 2.1" on both the site and google and all i am finding is 2.0 or the older themehax threads discussing 2.1 nhax

Yellows8 official page is still showing 2.0 as latest as well https://github.com/yellows8/3ds_homemenuhax/releases/tag/v2.0

Oh yeah, that's true.

Something you could try too is menuhax 2.0 but with the *hax 2.1 ropbin payloads.
Should be able to rename the ropbinpayload_menuhax.bin that you got from installingt hemehax 1.2/1.3 offline, then reinstall menuhax 2.0, then delete the 2.5 ropbin payload that was downloaded when you installed menuhax 2.0 and replace it with your *hax 2.1 payload.

The 2.1 payloads seem to have higher success rate than 2.5 and you lose nothing from using 2.1 on menuhax to boot rxTools so it's worth a shot.

Menuhax 2.0 had a much higher success rate than the previous versions did (it failed aaaaaaalllll the time when you manually used *2.5 payload on menuhax 1.2/1.3, lol), so coupled with 2.1 payloads is probably best. It also boots a tiny bit faster, hehe.

thanks @zoogie

found the offline 2.1 on that chaos site

boot rate seems ok atm but not tested it enough to know if any massive improvements over 2.5

thanks again for the tip :)

@K3Nv2 Snow Day is pretty fun. My only bitch would be the camera controls, when you move around, say down, you have to move the right stick left or right to get camera to turn and get your view, other than that I like it so far.

I just been playing offline, and they give you a few bots here n there on your team to help battle. I don't think it's as funny as the other games tho, more battle oriented than humor, which kinda sucks, but I'm still early in it
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@BigOnYa, doesnt the game have a campaign mode?
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Yea, and co-op, but you can also start a pvp session and battle just with friends. You get special skill cards (powers) the more you play. And higher value cards, but you can only enable so many cards at a time.

Toilet paper is considered the money, you collect and buy stuff with TP, kinda funny. Graphics are def better than the other games tho, I think they used Unity 5 engine.

@Xdqwerty, Many of them did before colour television was common.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
Likely because black and white TV was in-expensive.

  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
It certainly wasn't inexpensive it cost the same as a new car back then
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
How much did a 1965 color TV cost?

For example, a 21-inch (diagonal) GE color television in 1965 had an advertised price of $499, which is equal to $4,724 in today's dollars, according to the federal government's inflation calculator.
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@K3Nv2, take into consideration how economy was back then
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
Yeah that's why they listed inflation rates
