except that's not the point. the tubehax DNS server is still up I think which is a good and easy way to block updates (also applies to the Wii U, where tubehax DNS is suggested as well). This has been known. Tubehax is dead. You need some other form of hax now.
Ah, my bad then.except that's not the point. the tubehax DNS server is still up I think which is a good and easy way to block updates (also applies to the Wii U, where tubehax DNS is suggested as well).
Sorry, I'm just scared. It worked before. 10.1, New3DS, EUR.details? firmware? 3DS model?
try this:Sorry, I'm just scared. It worked before. 10.1, New3DS, EUR.
10.2 patches menuhax and browserhax. There's no reason to not update from 10.1. You're past 9.2, just update to current.
Did it. Hope it works. The DNS Settings are the following:try this:
that might delete downloaded update files. note that the system checks every 24 hours. make sure that DNS settings are properly set up.
- turn it off
- hold L + R + Up + A and turn it on
- if you get a "System Update" screen, press cancel and it will turn off
parental controls doesn't block anyone from installing updates since 4.1 I think. If it's happening again, maybe you could ask smealum on twitter.
If you're scared to update, you can set Parental Control if you want.
My bad, I misread this (http://en-americas-support.nintendo...57/~/what-can-i-block-with-parental-controls?)parental controls doesn't block anyone from installing updates since 4.1 I think.
nothing. updates don't install themselves. doing the recovery mode trick should delete the update files for a day.I did the Power Off thing, but I'm afraid of putting the system in Sleep Mode. What should I do?
remember turn off wifi before enter the force-update(recovery) modetry this:

Just because there's nothing now, doesn't mean there won't be anything later. There's no reason to not update from 10.1. You're past 9.2, just update to current.
But what if your only way of accessing the HBL is from homemenuhax? There's no reason to not update from 10.1.
Can confirm this is correct, at least on 9.2. Updating from System Settings will not ask for the PIN, but from the main menu prompt it will.If you're scared to update, you can set Parental Control if you want.
