Post anything you have built or are building that you think your fellow tempers will like, enjoy, or find interesting! Who knows, maybe you'll inspire someone to invent a new, fun, or useful product!

Please include the name of your item, a short description of what it does, and/or how you made it, and maybe even some pictures! :D

Projects that I or your fellow tempers like a lot might be included in the OP for all the temp to see.

I hope you all post fun and interesting things! :)

sorry if something like this was already made, dont kill me plz.

ill start this off with one of my favorite projects I've made:

The Creatively-named, Potato Canon!

[picture here]

If you haven't figured it out already, its a canon... that shoots potatoes. The flaming potatoes this contraption launches go at least 200 feet, and this thing is loud. I made it with some PVC pipes held together with PVC cement and some fire proof foam on the inside. When a potato is shoved down the barrel, the canon is filled with some AXE deodorant as fuel and sealed with a screw on plug on the opposite end. The grill sparker inside the combustion chamber sparks when the button is pressed, igniting the deodorant, creating lots of pressure and launching the potato.

i will post some pictures soon.

Well... I guess I'll post another...

An Airboat!

VIDEO0082_0000004214-1.jpg

^an early version of my airboat^

If you know what an Airboat does, this does the same thing... because it's a miniature airboat.
It is made with strofoam, a fan, a servo-like motor, and tons of components that control the fan and servo-thing. It's all wireless, I used an old RC car controller. Not my best project, but I find it cool.
The picture I included above is an earlier version floating in my bathtub. It has too much foam, and the pontoons are too high, so if you look closely you can see some of it is dipping into the water.

Hopefully someone will be inspired to post...

Sweet boss!

I made a ghetto shield (I'll post pics latter) but other than that I really haven't made anything (although my friends were wowed at the ghetto shield which was cool)

Pulling a hard necro here, but it's the proper thread.

This is a USB gamepad I designed and printed. It uses a knockoff Arduino Pro Micro, a 74HC4067 for button input (not enough open IO pins on the Arduino), PSP analog sticks and switches (squishy for the face buttons and clicky for the top buttons). It does normal input, but I'm working on a Turbo function and a programming mode (think MK fatalities). The Dpad was the worst of the project and I went through 10 versions and different types of padding in order to get it feeling as good as a legit controller. The buttons are made of a thermochromic plastic that goes from purple to pink with heat.
