FAST Racing Neo, the futuristic racer in the same vein as Wip3out and considered by some to be the F-Zero for Wii U that never was, will be released on the Wii U eShop on 10th December 2015.

Would purchasers of the download version get a discount if they subsequently bought the physical copy? I prefer physical copies of my games but also don't want to wait to see if they decide to make a physical release later.

I read that in GBP it'll cost £10.99 (price of an amiibo) so that's more than enough to make it a solid purchase and with the new Nintendo account system coming in March 2016 everything is falling to its place. I just hope there'll be a lot of players online to play against.

I hate to compare it to F-Zero, because even though it shamelessly rips off F-Zero, it is obviously trying to go in it's own way too...

But one of the best parts of F-Zero is that physics matter. If I go too quickly over the top of a hill in F-Zero I lose traction and come off the ground. In this game, all the parts where the car flies through the air are scripted events. The cars might as well be on an invisible track floating in the air, because they act like it. Idk it just looks like a shoddy futuristic racer.

No matter what happens the fact is this game will be a technical beast. As far as pushing Nintendo consoles is concerned Shin'en is in its own league.

Just wow, it looks insanely fast and awesome. I really hope the Wii U crowd supports this game because it definitely deserves and for an indie title, it puts some AAA racing games to shame.
