Hacking Is it possible to remove the Fatal Frame U censhorship via Loadiine?

Anyone tried replacing the Censored/Changed Costumes from the European Version with the Uncensored Costumes from the Japanese version?

Is it a simple Files swap, or does it require to decrypt/re-encrypt files?

loadiine is like a more improved version of cafiine, where cafiine failed on allowing the NDS VC rom swaps with .zip roms, they work perfectly with loadiine, so if it works with caffine it would almost certainly work with loadiine....as to if its possible, someone will just have to try, depending on how the game is packed it may just be a simple file swap

It is possible on paper, but there needs to be some way to dig into the archive file most of the game's assets are stored. The problem is it uses .lnk which can be renamed/masked something but I had no luck with Noesis and no further actual knowledge in opening archived game assets. I should maybe look into some tools that probably were created to handle DOA5 on PC with any luck the two games use similar archiving methods - that is with luck. Like said I am no expert here, far from it. I am just chucklehead who would do the same but ultimately one problem exists and that is lack of dumps for the japanese version of the game.

Wanting the game as it was originally before localization needing to swap things? I hate to say this but there is no magical culture thing in japan making those costumes magical shtuff in japan. The creators of the game put those costumes into the game for a reason; as a unlockable reward. The reason would be the exact same in japan as here.

The "worst" is that the costumes have a story relation; there is a scene where one of the female characters of the game is being gravure photographed in her bikini; Makes sense - this scene too is now changed in western version where the character is just wearing her normal attire.

Do not get why 18+ games needed this treatment from nintendo really...

Some people say there is some heavily ideologically driven people in Nintendo Treehouse department which is also nintendo's primary localization team, which also explains this stuff with xenoblade X.

Sometimes I hope nintendo just had separate localization team for Europe.
