I have a version and want to play GBA, but the mGba emulators runs very slow when I try to play Pokemon Firered. The sound is lagging too. Do you know any fix for this or any emulators that can run faster?

Sorry if I posted this wrong, I'm new to the forum.

What's your 3ds model and what firmware version is it?

On O3DS over firmware 9.2, I'd recommend just waiting a year or so. A lot of homebrew is still in early stages of development and you're using the least ideal setup (outside of not having access to homebrew at all).

Unfortunately, ol3ds is very slow with your 3ds firmware. GBA emulation is working best on N3ds or O3ds firmware 9.2>
Aaah. Is that because of kernel access?

What do you mean by least ideal setup? How can I set it up better?

It goes something like this: O3DS over 9.2 < O3DS on 9.2 < N3DS over 9.2 < N3DS on 9.2. It's extremely boiled down, but that should give you the basic idea.

Even on New 3DS, Fire Red and Leaf Green are both extremely slow using the latest retroarch emulators.
