Hardware Someone know if new transparent 2ds come with a lower version than 9.2?

New Launch might not be. Just try to buy the classic 2DS. Unless you are a daredevil, you can see if they are on 9.2 or not. But the original 2DS systems are 100% guaranteed to be on 9.2 or lower.

Be careful as they can really range. If you want 6.0, it might be a bit difficult. Mine came on 8.1. My friend's came on 9.0. Another person I knew had on come in on 6.0. They range widely. So, just keep that in mind when buying if you want a specific firmware.

when the AS/OR clear red/blue 2ds bundle came out it was on <9.2 when i looked at my brothers cant remember the exact firmware but when i got the blue/black one it was on 6.0-12E

Any "NEW" system will be 9.2 or less. Although, I would avoid Walmart. They are said to just rebox and resell all the consoles returned. Someone could've bought it, updated it, then returned it. But, if you trust them, a "NEW" system is 9.2 or less.

There's been a report of Yo-Kai Watch bundles being above 9.2 and while the transparent 2DS' were released way back, but if this was newly launched there's a high chance it'll come with a firmware higher than 9.2.

If the transparent one is the New Launch, then don't buy it. If it isn't, you can buy it. But be careful not to buy the New Launch by mistake.

I'm talking about the standard 2DS. Not the bundles. The standards are always 9.2 or less. Shall I edit my posts to please you?

The white and red one is not sold new anymore unless as part of a bundle...same for the black and blue one.
