Hacking PS Vita not recognising Sandisk Memory Stick Micro

For some reason, I can't get my Sandisk Memory Stick Micro to be recognised on my vita.
It looks exactly like this:

Basically, when I insert it, no message pops up regarding the memory stick being mounted.
I've even tried resetting the database, but that still didn't work.
Can someone tell me if I can do anything about it, or whether or not it isn't a supported type?

Unfortunately those do not work in a Vita. The Vita uses proprietary memory cards.

Yeah, I have one of those; I was just curious to see if my sandisk could work in any way, that's all.
