Yes, this is Pre-Built, and it's a Gaming Laptop. If you want to bicker about Pre-Built being stupid, please go somewhere else. Thank you.

I finally think I found a good deal on a Gaming Laptop now:

Here's what I found.

For those of you who are too tl;dr:
  • 2.6 GHZ Intel Core i7-4720HQ
  • 8GB DDR3L RAM
  • Nvidia GeForce GTX 960M w/ 2GB DDR5
  • 1 TB Hard Drive @ 5400 RPM
Am I getting a good amount of bang for my buick?

Intel core 2 duo 2.2 ghz
3 gb of ram
video card is nvidia quadro 140
120gb hard drive

Works great, but heavy gaming is a no-no. It will lag like crazy.

Wait, you're trading a car for this? :O
I see that your other account is suspended.

@VinsCool You gotta make due with what you got. I've been using this build for a while:
  • 2.00 GHz Intel M Single Core
  • 1 GB RAM (Upgraded form 512 MB)
  • Nvidia GO Graphics Ampifier
  • 12 Inch Screen
  • 60 GB HDD
Your thinkpad doesn't stand a chance against my old piece of junk. :rofl2:

ARE YOU KIDDING ME? YES. These specs are amazing for the price! You get to see GTX960Ms in India at about $2000 laptops that also with ULV processors.
Just go with it.:grog:

I just found out I can't. Amazon won't ship to my address. I think that's total Bullshit, and I have proof of someone earlier saying shipping is available to my area, but they will not ship it. So I'm just gonna buy one from NCIX. I have a store in my town that'll order computers from there and ship them in town. ^_^ So that's good.

God do I ramble...

I just got a laptop myself with somewhat similar specs. See: http://www.visions.ca/catalogue/cat...tegoryId=715&productId=29247&sku=GP722QE044US
Quick rundown for the lazy:
-Intel i7 5700hq
-8GB RAM
-1TB HDD @ 7200RPM
-17.3" 1920x1080 display with anti-glare
-3 USB 3.0 ports and 1 USB 2.0 port
-NVIDIA GTX950M 2GB graphics card + Intel integrated graphics

It's pretty good as well, I've been using it for the past few days and I've had no issues with it, although I'll give you a heads up if you do get an MSI: It will be a pain in the ass to get Linux started up and running. It's almost like MSI didn't want people running Linux on their devices. It's also a bit more than your selection, but it's not too much more.

Funny enough, that's roughly the same computer I've been looking at on NCIX. XD
