Hello everyone. I want to block updates on my 5.5.0 Wii U. I have read the
The Definitive Guide to Wii U Hacking (yes I copy and pasted) and have got out of it 3 ways to block:
1. Block your Wii U's MAC Address- I do not want to do this, as I use internet.
2.Block by URL Filtering- I do not want block it in my router, as I want to keep it clean (it's shared) and because I don't know how. So instead I use OpenDns. But recently I have read the posts that say OpenDNS is not a 100% safe guard. ( And because I have a dynamic, the OpenDNS app was closed and my Wii U auto updated from 5.3.2 to 5.5.0)
3.Use TubeHax DNS and nallar's DNS- I will start off by saying that I don't use youtube on my Wii U so it will not be a problem. I have considered going to this but I don't know if it will be safe to because I already have OpenDNS setup.
So, I was wondering if I could use tubehax, while OpenDNS is still doing it's stuff. (I know that I probably cannot use them at the same time as they both use the DNS settings.)
Also one last thing. I would like to thank the people making this possible and have a question. What type of code do they use? I myself have no idea how to code but I was just curious about how they work their stuff.
Thank you.
