ROM Hack How can you remove the hat in pokemon x and y?

So im trying to figure out how to do this, is it possible with ohana3ds and just delete the hat model? Im using a us cartridge and HANS with the romfs

I'm pretty sure that the hat is a part of the player model and I believe it cant be removed.
(I'm not 100% sure though)

Theres a save editor for japanese carts that can remove it, so theres got to be another way for us ones or roms

If it is its own model, then you could just make the texture transparent, right?

The only problem i cant find calems overworld, its not the one near the beginning i tried that and the hat was still there, ive went through 100 overworlds out of like 400 i cant find it

you can remove it in PKHex by setting the hat value to 0

Yep got it now, the homebrew save extractor works like a charm with the program
