Yes, it would be ideal if there was a wii u software solution for dumping the emmc and nand1/2, but as of right now there is not. I am actually surprised that no one else has created a reliable method for dumping and reflashing the flash memory yet. The wii u has been out for how many years now? And this shit has not taken off yet. Seems rather stupid to me, which is why I created this thread, especially with homebrew about to take off and thousands of bricks about to occur.

Luckily, a teensy 2.0++ has enough IO's to interface with the emmc and nand1/2 all in one take, so it is possible to dump those flash chips into one file (for easy storage) or multiple files for each flash bank.

Excuse me fucktwat. I am not begging at all. I dont have to do this. I personally dont give a flying fuck if hundreds of idiots brick their fucking wii u's. I am a community member. I have done many things for this community and I am still striving to be a community member and contributor. When I first figured out how to unbrick wii's back in the day, I wrote up a full tutorial for people to be able to do it themselves. Was I fucking beggin then? No fuck I was not. Am I beggin now? NO!

If this doesn't work out then no skin off my back. I dont have a bricked wii u. I am only explaining why I am not capable of buying the shit to research this as I did out of my own pocket many years ago.

Many cum suckers ask for community sourcing and funding on GBAtemp, hence the other thread by mathiueauethdshfhff(sp?)(and his second thread of the type where he is BEGGIN for money to produce results, like a bitch).

I only need enough to just get a wii u or someone to donate one to me. I don't give a fuck how I obtain a wii u as long as I can use it to help this community. Once I have enough funds for a wii u or someone sends me one then I will cut off any and all donation links. I dont want a single cent of profit from this at all. I just love hardware hacking. The smell of molten solder turns me on.

Well, the thing is that you know, people in this era happen to be lazy ass bourgeois modern capitalist gears to the system that in their compulsive need to consume would just like to click a button to donate, at most.
Perhaps with some minimal probability someone will go out of their way to do more, but if you just make things easy, just a lazy person with some leftover change may throw money into it just because.
