[SOLVED] (for now...)

Hey guys,

it's Aidan again. I'm currently developing a 3DS CFW Installation Assistant which will be called 3CIA. In order to make it work, I need the help of someone who can provide me 512MB of webspace (1024 or 2048 would be even better :) ) that I can access via ftp and http (https would be better, of course, but I don't expect that at all ;) ). If you know anyone who could probably help me out, please tell him/her. Thanks for reading. :)

100GB/month is unfortunately not enough :/

I would just use it for now, and then someone will give you your 500MB of internet space with unlimited bandwidth if your application is worth it.
Otherwise, I would just mirror the files on MEGA and Dropbox, and instructions users of your product to download the files before running your application.

I can provide you 5GB or more for you with FTP, HTTP, and HTTPS using Digital Ocean, but I would like to make sure that you won't be using that space for illegal means, and have you explain why you need that much space for a 3DS application. :)

Wow, thank you, that's kind! But I feel like I won't need that as MEGA seems to be just fine :)

Thank you for all your replies.
I think I will stick to MEGA and use their API for the application.

I won't host just the CFWs themselves but also everything else needed for the CFW installation, so in case the original source is missing, the program can still recieve the files from my own online storage. ;)

More information to come once I get the PoC ready. :)

Dropbox has a 20GB/day limitation on download bandwidth unless you pay an unholy amount of money to lift that restriction. You'd be better off just getting yourself a webspace and hosting everything yourself.

I must say that 20GB/day is much more than 100GB/month as offered by those "free unlimited web hosters", but not enough. :/

Use github pages
I guess github would have a problem with firmware.bin and slot0x25keyX.bin ;)

You can use the github client to upload them.
