Romhack of: Animal Crossing: New Leaf (3DS)

Animal Crossing: New Leaf | Population Growing! is a romhack of Animal Crossing: New Leaf. It's main purpose is to bring elements from Animal Crossing: Population Growing! (GCN) to the newer title. At the moment, the main goal is to replace the in-game music with that of the GameCube's version. This is a community project, as anybody can submit their .bcstm files for music replacement. After that, we can move on to other possible changes, such as changing some Public Work Projects to resemble the GCN items.

Here's a first version~

Clicky!

This includes all of the hourly music for standard days (no snow or rainy themes), along with the title theme. However, it is currently missing 3 A.M., 9 A.M., 9 P.M., 10 P.M., and 11 P.M., but those will be added soon.

To download this, simply put in in romfs/sound/stream. Due to the HANS update, Animal Crossing: New Leaf mods are now supported by it, which I'm sure is helpful for a lot of users.

Hm. The volume is a bit low, I'll need to do something about that.
Like me on GBAlpha, and I don't know why...
I don't are about size, I want just the best quality...
My .wav are perfect, but once in bcstm in game, it's not the same quality, as you said, it's low

I'm thinking of making a couple (30~ or so) pre-made acre sets to be put into the game to resemble Animal Crossing: Population Growing better. This would also include co-ordinates. Using this, I would re-implement the four houses shoved in the middle, lillypads 'n stuff under the big pond (along with the bridge), etc.

Anybody interested in this?

Thanks for sharing the music files, when ACNL hacking became possible this was the very first thing I wanted.
What program(s) did you use to convert to/from BCSTM if you don't mind me asking?

Amplify the volume in the original .wav, then convert?

Just a quick question about this romhack and HANS. My copy of AC:NL is a physical card. Is it safe to use this with a physical game card?
As far as I am aware, you must have the physical cart to use this. It doesn't write anything onto the cart. You dump the game and load custom files with it. It should be 100% safe.

You are not going to be replacing the museum themes anytime soon. Only the lobby and fossil rooms are streamed. The other rooms in the museum are sequenced onto the lobby's theme.
