I've got a ps3 cfw rebug 4.70 . All my games in an external hard drive 2.0 format fat32 . I often play games from it . But a few friends told me don't do that because it will make external hard drive get error faster . And i should copy the game from it on ps3's hdd to play . So it is right or wrong ?

I think what they're referring to is fragmentation. All you have to do is defrag your HDD and it should be fine, other than that NO. Playing games from your external won't screw anything up. Just be sure to defrag your hard drive every few months or so to keep it working just fine.
