Hi guys.

I friend of mine is currently sitting on FW 9.9, on a New 3DS, previous Tubehaxx user.

What are his options for getting the new version of homebrew?
None?

If he tries to launch the Browser, it forces him to update to newest 10.2 firmware, so I guess that BrowserHaxx is a no-go?

i think he'll have to use a physical cart way to run homebrew (cubic ninja/OoT3D/smash) then install themehax

9.9 O3ds user here with ironhax installed. Can I upgrade to 2.5 or I'm stuck?
On old 3ds yes you're stuck if you have gotten the nag atleast once. On new you can literally outrun the nag. But, i think oothax might be possible with a powersaves but dont quote me on that.

Great idea, but unfortunately he never used BrowserHaxx before (only Tubehaxx).
This means, that he has to type in the URL after launching the browser, and that is impossible to do, before the firmwarepatch-notification kicks in, sadly :/

Once you've set the DNS up (Take note that the first DNS should end in 165 not 065, sometimes easy to miss that, and the second DNS should be the normal 065 one) Disable WiFi, clear history and cookies, scan QR code, when it loads enable WiFi, you'll probably then get the nag but this should get the URL on the browser ready for the next step.

From there, turn off the N3DS, turn it back on and mash the screen where the browser is, it should load, retry it if it doesn't, it should eventually get in.
