Yeah, I freaked out a bit too early. Popped out SD card and home menu loaded, had to setup browser hax though. Just a warning if you fully transfer your SD card the ropbin and stuff from an o3ds, it will overwrite yours and since its not compatible and can leave you without an entry point if you have not backed up your SD card prior, and don't have any entry points other than themehax available.
edit: seems you posted the solution when i was confuzzled trying to figure it out.

Ironhax through systrans worked. Nice.

Good to know.

Btw anyone else having weird issues with that iso site? Keep getting connection reset on my laptop, and my phone gets thrown into a redirect chain. Might be worth noting that a ping or traceroute gives a weird ass domain that is not the domain of the iso site.

Since the new patch came, the code.bin file does not work. When I try to launch the system transfer app, Hans goes back to HBL. Does anyone know what can be done now to transfer without updating?

Hello,

I was trying to dump system transfer app's
code.bin file. When using braindump I'm getting exefs.bin that I can't extract.

I'm using the following command:
ctrtool --intype=exefs --exefsdir=exefsdir --decompresscode exefs.bin
but there is nothing inside exefsdir folder after that.

When I use HANS to dump code to SD, it is crashing and returns to HBL.

What is the propper way to dump the
code.bin file after all?

I'm on 9.9.0-26E if that's important.

So what's the point of this if we don't have a way to get the code.bin of the 9.6+ system transfer app?
How do we even get it?
There must be a way to get it because several users in this thread apparently got it and had it working, but no-one gave any details on how to actually get that code.bin file, and braindump can't dump it yet (with no sign of a new version that fixes the problem on the horizon.)

Hello! Recently, I became interested in hacking my N3DS XL (Ver. 10.5.0-30U). My friend informed me that my 3ds was too high of a version to get an emuNAND running on it. Luckily I had an O3ds (Ver. 9.9) that was able to be downgraded to Ver. 9.2.0. My O3ds is small compared to my xl so I wanted to see if I could transfer my O3ds sysNAND to the N3ds. My friend told me it wouldn't work but then I found this thread. It seems like you all have cracked it, but I can't find any specific instructions on how to do it. Can somebody please explain to me, step by step, how to do this?
