There is an update for the title and even though I didn't update its refusing to run the exploit until its updates. I'm assuming its not safe to update the YouTube app.

I guess tubehax is dead for now, what other solutions are there for homebrew access?

P.S. I have ironfall on 1.0 and before it was taken down from the eShop. Still wanna keep my options open.

Can confirm an update is live.

Do not update. (to others)

Edit: somehow they've bypassed mtheall's dns spoof and the app refuses to launch.

VERDICT: TUBE HAX IS KILL FOR THE TIME BEING
(but still don't update as smea might have a solution)

OoThax (Zelda: OoT)
Ninjhax (Cubic Ninja)
Browserhax (o3DS - Sliderhax/n3DS - stagefrighthax) (Web Browser)
Themehax/Homemenuhax (Themes)
Ironhax (IronFall ver. 1.0 - 1.1 only)
Smashhax (Smash Bros) (n3DS only)
Spiderhax (Web Browser, o3DS only)
MSET (Settings, 9.2 and below only)

Still plenty of entrypoints.

Well isn't this outright shitty. Just when I was contemplating updating my 9.4 n3DS for some homebrew. Guess there's always themehax, or make a comfortable place my inevitable grave while waiting for Gateway to update n3DS support.

While were discussing 3DS homebrew. Are there any 3DS games that can update the system to 9.0-9.2 (9.2 if possible.)

I don't know where to check what games can update to what firmware.

Cooking Mama: Bon Appetit! in European countries has 9.2 on it, and some [very? apparently they're hard to find] rare Smash Bros carts in the US contain 9.2.

Well I bought my copy of Super Smash 3DS from launch so I doubt it would have the update.

How do I identify if a cart can do it? You mentioned a serial on the cart but can you be more specific please, like is there a range of numbers to look for or anything like that?

We really need to get back on topic. Make a new thread or something.

It would be extremely funny if Nintendo updated to a YT spider version that could still be exploited by sliderhax or something
i showed you a range of numbers, pay attention

It's almost 7 in the morning for me and I just realized you did give me a range of numbers. At first glance I thought it was one long row of serial so I'm sorry for not seeing that at first.

I stayed up studying for a final exam I have this afternoon and this topic has already served its purpose by informing the community, not much more can be done from here to be honest unless Smea or any other higher ups wanna chime in with an update on the situation. That'd be nice.

Pretty sure Nintendo patched it, it says that I need to have a newer version of the software, and since I cant access the eshop, well... yeah.

We have another thread about this what Nintendo has basically done is render YouTube useless until you update it and when you do update no more tubehax. Nintendo seam to be on a all out assault in the last few days to get rid of homebrew first ironhax then tubehax and probably the other hax that exist will be patched over the next few days.

Damn, TubeHax was the easiest for me to setup without having to clear my fucking browser cache all the time... I don't have OoT or Cubic Ninja, and from what I hear, Smash Hax is a bitch to setup and use. I'm on a 2DS (O3DS without 4.5 support, I guess you could say), so my "hax" are limited.

I'm pretty sure as long as were on 9.9.0 or whatever firmware below 10.1 we'll be good with the browserhax exploit. They cant do anything about that.

That's how the game works. I don't think they will find solutions as quickly as you predict though.

Well they have patched two hax over the last two days so I don't think it's wrong to expect more over the next few days plus as reported in another thread the 3ds is getting a huge system update next week as well

SylverReZ @ SylverReZ: Also nice. Never really watched Fallout on Prime, but sounds like a good show. +1
